Dow Announces New Plastics Distributor in Canada
Channel Prime Alliance named authorized distributor of base plastics products

Houston, TX - November 08, 2005

The Dow Chemical Company announced today that Channel Prime Alliance will become an authorized distributor of basic plastics resins from Dow in Canada effective November 15, 2005. This authorization expands the relationship between Dow and Channel Prime Alliance which is already a distributor of Dow's plastics resins in the United States.

Dow's industry-leading portfolio of base plastics includes a broad range of Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polystyrene and Engineering Thermoplastic resins. These products are used in a wide range of applications across multiple market segments, including: Consumer Durables; Consumer Electronics, ITE and Optical Media; Flexible Food and Specialty Packaging; Hygiene and Health; Industrial and Consumer Packaging Films; Pipe; and Rigid Packaging.
