Effective immediately, or as contract terms allow, The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") is increasing its U.S. schedule and off schedule selling prices of both diaphragm (commercial) and membrane grades of caustic soda 50% solution (basis 76% Na2O) by $75.00/DST.

For customers subject to quarterly or other price increase protection, effective October 30, 2005, Dow will remove $75.00/DST (or the total if less than $75.00/DST) of any existing TVA (Temporary Voluntary Allowance).
