Midland, MI - November 01, 2005
Effective December 1, 2005 or as soon thereafter as contracts allow, The Dow Chemical Company and its subsidiaries will raise prices of PELLETHANE polyurethane elastomers resins globally by $0.15/lb.
This increase is being implemented as a result of the continuing pressure from rising raw material costs and product support costs.
"We must increase prices and restore margins to ensure we continue to operate as a specialty, innovative R&D business," said Mike McGaugh, Product Director for Thermoplastic Polyurethane Resins. "By increasing prices, we will ensure we continue to offer our customers specialized products and high quality research and technical service expertise."
