The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) and Nissan Chemical Industries Ltd.(TSE1:code4021) have announced that Nissan Chemical has been appointed as Dow’s distributor for CYCLOTENE™ advanced electronics resins and associated ancillary chemicals in Japan. In its role as distributor, Nissan Chemical will also provide technical service support for CYCLOTENE resins in Japan.
“Nissan Chemical Industries has considerable expertise in the electronics market in Japan as well as a good understanding of our product offering,” said Bill Yue, Commercial Manager for CYCLOTENE resins in Dow’s Advanced Electronic Materials business. “Their expertise, along with their cultural background and knowledge of the electronics market in Japan, will improve our ability to promote our products as well as to expand and serve the customer base in Japan.”
