Dow continues to experience high raw material and energy costs with respect to polypropylene production, while demand remains strong.  Based on this situation, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European region for all polypropylene resins and INSPIRE™ Performance Polymers.

Effective September 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow will increase the price for all of its polypropylene resins and INSPIRE™ Performance Polymers by 70 Euro per metric ton.
