Dow Announces Price Increases for Peroxymeric Chemicals and Hydroxyalkyl Acrylates in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan)

Hong Kong - August 24, 2006

Effective September 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy – a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company – will increase prices for  peroxymeric chemicals and hydroxyalkyl acrylates in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan) at the following rates:

Dow said the high feedstock cost and tight supply situation are the primary reasons for the price increase.
