Effective October 1, 2006 Dow will increase its price for all Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) by $0.25/pound (U.S. dollars). This price increase applies to all polyurethane market segments and end-use applications in the Asia-Pacific region.
“We continue to be faced with persistently high and volatile energy and raw material costs, including crude oil and natural gas, which are significantly impacting our cost of production in the region,” stated Kinson Siu, Asia-Pacific product manager, Dow Polyurethanes. “This price increase is necessary to help restore margins for our TDI product offering to more sustainable levels.”
