The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow” ) announced today that it will increase off-list selling prices for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in Latin America by US$220 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$100 per metric ton; in Europe by 100 Euros per metric ton; in the Middle East/Africa by US$125 per metric ton. In the United States and Canada, list and off-list prices will increase by $0.10 per pound. This increase will become effective October 1, 2006 or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
