Effective October 1st, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase prices for VERSENE* chelants standard liquid products in Europe by 5 - 7%, and prices for powder and special chelating agents by 7-10%, depending on the product.

“Unprecedented increases in key raw materials, energy and transportation costs, forces Dow to implement these increases” said Carlos da Silva Lopes, product manager for Dow Versene Chelants. “As part of Dow’s comittment to remain a trusted supplier of Chelating agents to the European industry, we need to take this action in order to achieve reinvestment levels in the business.” he added.
