Dow Raises Epoxy Prices in Latin America
New Facility Will Produce STYROFOAM Brand Insulation Boards For The Building Industry

Sao Paulo, Brazil - December 01, 2007

Dow Epoxy, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”) and its affiliates, today announced a price increase in Latin America for various epoxy resins and curing agents.

Effective January 1, 2008, or as contract terms allow, prices will increase as follows:

  • Liquid Epoxies (resins, blends and solutions), D.E.R.™ 300 series: US$0.15/kg

  • Novolac Epoxies (resins and solutions), D.E.N.™ 400 series: US$0.15/kg

  • Novolac Epoxies, D.E.N. 431: US$0.20/kg

  • Solid and Solid Solution Epoxies, D.E.R. 600 series: US$0.15/kg

  • Glycol Epoxies (resins and blends), D.E.R. 700 series: US$0.15/kg

  • Epoxy Curing Agents, D.E.H.™ series: US$0.15/kg

All other terms and conditions of sale for these products remain unchanged.
