New Facility Will Produce STYROFOAM Brand Insulation Boards For The Building Industry

Horgen, Switzerland - December 11, 2007

Dow Epoxy, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow"), is announcing price increases for DOW Allyl Chloride of 20 Euro/MT and for DOW Epichlorohydrin of 50 Euro/MT.

The increases are effective January 1, 2008, or as contract terms allow, and apply across Europe (Western Europe and Eastern Europe including Turkey).

These increases are driven by the rising cost of propylene, a key raw material for these intermediates products. Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
