Dow Announces Price Increase for Isopropanolamines
New Facility Will Produce STYROFOAM Brand Insulation Boards For The Building Industry

Midland, MI - December 14, 2007

The Dow Chemical Company has announced today that it will increase all off-list prices for Monoisopropanolamine (MIPA) and Triisopropanolamine products (TIPA) including MIPA Electronic Grade (EG), MIPA Commercial Grade (CG), TIPA 99, TIPA Low Freeze Grade (LFG), and TIPA 101, effective January 1, 2008, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms. Dow will increase prices for these products by US$.05/lb to all direct and indirect customers in the United States and Canada.

This price increase is necessary in order to meet the growing needs of our customers combined with market conditions.
