Recognition of continued business successes in the Chinese market was illustrated last week when Dow Water Solutions announced that it was named the “Best Component Supplier” in China, but also that OMEX Environmental, a subsidiary of Dow Water Solutions, won the “Best Water Engineering Company” award in the same survey. The awards were a result of a survey conducted by ChinaWater (http://www.h2o-china.com), a leading internet portal dedicated to the Chinese water sector.

The survey, reviewed by an expert professional panel, was conducted between August and December 2007, targeting national-wide water plant, wastewater reuse facilities, industrial water supply and contaminant removal companies, as well as water engineering companies.
The experts responding to the survey ranked Dow as one of the best component suppliers in China for the second time running, and OMEX Environmental as one of the best water engineering companies in China. In April 2007, Dow Water Solutions was named as “the best membrane supplier” in the same survey. Meanwhile, Dow continues to hold the leading position in terms of intended purchases over the next two years, and also for the quality of membrane products for water treatment and purification.
