Effective March 20, 2008, the Dow Carpet Latex business is increasing the prices of all styrene butadiene (S/B) latex and acrylic latex products sold into the carpet industry by US$0.04/lb (dry) in the United States and Canada.

Dow is implementing this price increase on latex carpet products to help offset rising manufacturing costs. The escalation in the costs of many raw materials used to manufacture Dow products has eroded its margins to unsustainable levels.
