Hong Kong - February 27, 2008
The Polyurethanes business of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) announces that effective March 1, 2008, it will increase price for its polyether polyols and monopropylene glycol in Asia Pacific by US$100 per metric ton and US$80 per metric ton respectively. The increase is attributed to the persistently high costs of raw materials and energy which continue to have significant adverse impact on the business’s cost of production, and on the current tight supply/demand environment the business is facing.
Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
