Raw material and energy costs related to the production of polyethylene have reached record levels. Based on these conditions, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions for PE resins.

Effective August 1, 2008, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe will increase prices by 150 Euros per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins.
