Horgen, Switzerland - March 15, 2006
Effective April 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase prices for its DOWFAX™ Nonionic Surfactants Series by 7-14%, and by 8% for its Polyglycol P Series Polypropylene Glycols (PPGs).
"Raw material costs have increased further since the last price increase in 2005. Strong demand for products in the range has stretched our capability to be a reliable supplier. This increase is necessary in order to ensure high quality and reliable supply to our key customers and support the sustainability of our business," says John Davidson, European market manager, Polyglycols and Surfactants.
